We've been developing field-data collection software for more than 10 years. From specialized barcode scanning functions to GPS enabled "GIS-ready" field solutions, our tools are improving productivity, providing on-the-ground data entry validation and bringing work-force participation to all levels of the organization.
We use the latest generation .NET development tools and Microsoft SQL Server technology to ensure a secure product roadmap, compatibility with industry standards and the latest in Windows Mobile smartphone hardware. A robust infrastructure and experience managing large deployments, with secure management tools, keeps devices updated with the latest software and allows seamless monitoring and support. We are putting tools out in the field at customer sites around the world - in farm fields, on turf race tracks and in urban parkland management.
The systems we deliver consist of four components:
- Mobile software that runs on PDA and smartphone devices,
- Desktop software used to configure the data management environment and generate tabular reports,
- Database server technology that ensures that the system supports distributed data collection and can grow with the organization's needs,
- Business Intelligence reporting systems deployed as a GIS portal.
In-field data collection can be assisted by the use of GPS coordinate data, barcode readers, RFID readers and digital camera technology.
Users can easily capture data for:
- Detailed field assessments like crop condition monitoring,
- Inspections and auditing functions like certification and regulatory compliance record-keeping,
- Resource management including timesheet entry and equipment tracking.
